Live stream Wales vs Belgium: How to watch Nations League from anywhere in the world

Live stream Wales vs Belgium, Thursday 22nd September 19:45

Wales will look to increase their chances of surviving in League A by posting a surprise win over Belgium on Thursday.

Rob Page’s side find themselves in a dangerous position in Group A4 after taking just one point from the first 12 available. They are three points adrift of third-placed Poland, whom they host in Cardiff next week. But a defeat by Belgium on Thursday would see them relegated if Poland avoids defeat by the Netherlands. To guarantee survival in League A, Wales must win their two remaining games.

That will not be easy. Belgium are chasing first place and qualification for next year’s Nations League finals. Three points adrift of the Netherlands, realistically, victory is all that’s needed for Roberto Martinez’s side when they host Wales.

But despite the mostly disappointing results, Page will have gleaned some positives from his team’s campaign so far. Each of their three losses was by a single goal. One of them, against Poland, was linked with a heavily rotated Welsh side. Both defeats against the Netherlands were accompanied by second-half added-time winners.

Apart from a 6-1 thrashing of Poland, Belgium didn’t quite convince. In the second leg at the Cardiff City Stadium, they could only draw, while their home game against the Dutch resulted in a 4-1 defeat.

Aaron Ramsey has been left out of the Wales squad with a hamstring injury but Gareth Bale is expected to start on Thursday. Harry Wilson and Ben Davies are also on the treatment table while 17-year-old Fulham’s Luke Harris is called up (opens in new tab).

The Belgian squad is missing the injured Romelu Lukaku, while Jeremy Doku is also absent due to fitness concerns. leicester (opens in new tab) The trio of Youri Tielemans, Timothy Castagne and Wout Faes could face club-mate Danny Ward.

VPN guide

Annoyingly, when you’re abroad for a round of Premier League games, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are based on your IP address (boo!). You’re blocked from watching it, which isn’t ideal if you’ve paid for a subscription and still want to follow the action without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.

But help is at hand. To get around this, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), provided it complies with your broadcaster’s terms and conditions. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, which means the service can’t figure out where you are and won’t automatically block the service you paid for. All information that goes in between is fully encrypted – and that’s a result.

There are many inexpensive options, including:
