Disney Parks fans are desperate to disrupt live streamers
One international Disney park, Tokyo Disney Resort, has strictly banned live streaming and vlogging, and many fans can’t wait for similar rules to apply at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

It might seem fun to visit and review theme parks for work, but Disney Adults and Disney Influencers have been the target of intense backlash on social media over the past few months. Sometimes it was something as harmless as crying while hugging Pluto at EPCOT. Some guests find it “incredibly rude” and “annoying” to be filmed just for the content of others on social media.
Many Disney Parks fans feel that social media has “ruined” Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort, leaving once-secret locations overcrowded. Others have forced policy changes at the parks after encouraging guests to “dress up” for a free T-shirt. One influencer suggested permanently damaging 3D glasses at Disney Parks so they fit better.

Now Disney Parks fans are taking action. On Reddit, fans discussed ways to disrupt live streamers on rides at Disney Parks and during shows.
“I love using my special ability to be equally loud and passively aggressive towards these guys. The utterly disgusted look they give me makes my day,” wrote u/No_Neighborhood1987.

u/CCrypto1224 suggested loudly promoting your own social media accounts or businesses to get Disney live streamers to put down the camera:
“Choose it to promote your own stuff. That’s gonna piss her off.
The best part is that you don’t actually need an account or channel, just hand out a real-sounding username with a random number and platform. You won’t know the difference.”
A Disneyland Resort fan was concerned that pausing live streamers could create conflict, which could lead to more viral content for the Disney influencer. u/SciencyNerdGirl had a solution:
“That’s why you just talk so loud about mundane crap that it’s boring and disruptive. Talk at length about your hobby. “I find that I paint my birdhouses oil paint because it holds up better in the sun, but if it’s in a shady area I tend to go blah blah blah…”
“One trick is to tell them stories that lead nowhere, like when I took the ferry to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so I decided to go to Morganville, as they called Shelbyville back then. So I tied an onion to my belt, as was the custom at the time. Well, taking the ferry cost a nickel. And back then, there were pictures of bumblebees on Nickels. “Give me five bees for a quarter,” you would say. Well where were we? Oh yeah! It was important that I had an onion on my belt, as was customary at the time. They didn’t have any white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was these big yellow ones.”
Do you think live streaming should be banned at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort?
