Sindhu Sriharsha:

The right-handed top hitter and USA captain was the lone fighter in the clash against Bangladesh in the last game. The wicketkeeper-batter scored an unbeaten 74-of-71, including eight limits, to lead the run hunt from the front. In the process, she sewed a 91-run partnership with Lisa Ramjit for the fourth wicket.

Snigdha Paul:

The USA’s right-wing streaker was the lone wicket-taker in their last appearance against Bangladesh. She opened bowling with Disha Dhingra and scored in her second over. She bowled well with the new ball and was the most economical bowler in the USA. Aside from her bowling, she is known for her batting. She is a left-handed opening batter.

Vicky Araa:

The Papua New Guinea right-arm off-spinner went 23/4 in four overs in her last game against Thailand. Her best bowling figures came during her T20I career. The cunning spinner picked up wickets on the power play, middle stretches of the innings, and on death.

Tanya Ruma:

Papua New Guinea’s top right-handed slugger posted the highest score of 35/53 in their last game against Thailand. She smashed three boundaries in her innings and kept her team’s batting together. She came in to bat in the third over and was center by the 19th over.

This is the eighth game of the tournament at this venue, with the seventh game played early in the day. Of the six games played here up until yesterday, the teams batting first and second have each won three. The first innings average score is 123 and the second innings average score is 103. The wicket helped the batters. Expect high-scoring competition.

The weather promises lots of sunshine. It will be very warm with low humidity. The highest daily temperature is 41 degrees Celsius. There is no cloud cover and no chance of rain. The wind is blowing from the northeast.
