Homestyle cooking. No fuss, no muss, Harmony Lunch is back… and better than ever!
The location hasn’t changed and neither has the sign on the restaurant. The silver-circle swivel chairs are here too. So is your favourite food (plus way more options!) Delicious burgers and heaps of fried onions; our expanded menu includes the staples you’ve come to love over the years. Oh, and we now serve breakfast seven days a week AND are open until 2AM Thursday-Saturday. We even have a “Harmony Old & Precious Special” for seniors: A burger and pop for $6. See you soon!
The Fat Sparrow Group took on Harmony Lunch in late 2016. We also run Nick & Nat’s Uptown 21, Marbles and Taco Farm. We’re excited to continue serving the same quality of food you’ve come to expect from us over the years. Harmony Lunch was a favourite of Chef Nick’s, so you can rest assured that his unyielding commitment to homestyle cooking and quality food will be in perfect harmony with the standard Harry Marks set all those years ago.
This iconic eatery was started by Listowel native Harry Marks in 1930. He started selling 10 cent burgers out of the side window as the jitterbugs danced in the hall overhead. Despite the Depression, a fire in the upstairs dance hall, meat rations during the Second World War and the boom of fast food chains, Harmony Lunch thrived as a family business, passed down from one generation to the other. It enjoyed 86 successful years with the Marks family and we’re looking forward to seeing it thrive well into its centennial year. 100 years of burgers, baby!
